The longest cave in Bohemia, located in the Bohemian Karst, featuring stalactites, stalagmites, and palaeontological finds. The second level contains the remains of a medieval coin-forging workshop. Guided tours on two levels; inside temperature 9 °C – a jacket is essential.

Why visit this place?

• The middle level was found entirely by chance in 1950 during blasting in the local quarry, and most of the caves opened to visitors in 1959.
• Somewhere between 1469 and 1472 a counterfeiters' workshop operated on the upper level, forging coins underground.

• Allow roughly 50 minutes; the programme is aimed at lower primary, upper primary and secondary students.
