Category: rock town

Klokočské skály is a nature reserve in the Český ráj Geopark — a 1,600 m long massif of Upper Cretaceous block sandstone 4 km from Turnov. The rock town includes Betlémské skály to the north and the Klokočské skály proper to the south, with numerous rock cavities and the pseudo-karst cave Postojná, which holds the oldest traces of human settlement in Český ráj. A nature trail leads through passages to viewpoints and the ruins of Rotštejn castle.
