The Krkonoše Environmental Education Centre (KCEV) Krtek in Vrchlabí is a modern educational centre of the KRNAP Administration, opened in 2014. It features a lecture hall for 80 people, a small laboratory with microscopes and stereo loupes, and a gallery. It runs educational programmes for schools focused on Krkonoše nature, climate change and ecology. Regular tours are free every Tuesday 15:00–17:00.
