Ivanské jezero is an artificial reservoir on the Javornicko stream within the Les Včelný Nature Park, approximately 3 km from Rychnov nad Kněžnou. The rubble-stone dam was built between 1905 and 1910 and named after the hermit Ivan. The lake, covering 1.8 hectares, serves both recreation and flood protection. Historically it hosted a lido and a boat hire; today it is a popular destination for excursions with free access to open-water swimming. A sandstone water-sprite statue (2002) stands by the lake, and the Podorlická Beer Trail educational path (est. 2013) passes through the area. The site is accessible via red and yellow hiking trail markers.
Suitable for outdoor school trips, activity-based excursions, and exploring nature and aquatic ecosystems. Free access, no reservation required.
