A Romanesque-Gothic castle of the Rožmberk family rising above the Vltava River, it is one of the oldest noble castles in southern Bohemia. Visitors can walk through historic interiors, view the knight's hall, armoury and chapel. Schools can enjoy themed guided tours focused on the Middle Ages and the history of the noble family.
