Rotštejn is a ruined rock castle set among the sandstone rocks in the southeastern part of the Klokočí Rocks in the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area. The castle was founded around 1250 and fell into ruin in the early 16th century. Following restoration, the complex is now accessible, featuring a lookout tower, towers, and rock corridors. Access to the castle is along rocky paths – sturdy footwear is recommended. The castle closes in rain and strong wind. Groups and schools can arrange bookings outside standard opening hours.
