A picturesque Gothic ruin of Lichnice Castle (Lichtenburk) from the 13th century, perched on a rocky spur in the Železné hory hills above the village of Podhradí at 480 m above sea level. The northern tower houses the Milada lookout with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. A small castle museum with commentary. Panoramic position above the Chrudim region, a popular destination for tourists. Access from Podhradí or Třemošnice.
