The romantic ruins of this Gothic castle from the late 14th century lie 15 km southwest of Rakovník in the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area. The castle is renowned as the last place of stay of Jan Hus before his departure to the Council of Constance in 1414. Visitors are free to walk through the castle grounds.
