Kámen Castle is a Gothic fortress on a rocky promontory 8 km from Pacov, first mentioned in the 13th century. Its unique attraction is an extensive museum of two-wheeled vehicles (motorcycles) – one of the oldest and largest exhibitions of its kind in the Czech Republic. Visitors can see historic motorcycles by Jawa, ČZ, and other manufacturers, including rare pieces such as the three-seat Čechie-Böhmerland 600 and ČZ 500 models. The castle is undergoing gradual reconstruction; operating hours and opening times may change – we recommend checking current status before visiting.

Kámen is first mentioned in writing in 1316, when it was owned by Nemír z Kamene.
On 4 August 1450 the castle hosted talks between Jiří z Poděbrad and Jindřich z Rožmberka, who concluded a peace agreement here.
