An extensive Gothic castle ruin from 1355 on the rocky summit of Malošín (683 m a.s.l.) near Bavorov in the Strakonice district. With an area of 1.27 ha, it ranks among the largest ruins in the Czech Republic. Managed by the Czech Tourist Club since 1933, designated a cultural monument in 1963. Panoramic views over the South Bohemian countryside. Not to be confused with Helfenburk Castle near Úštěk in the Ústí nad Labem Region.
