Český Šternberk Castle is a Gothic castle from the 13th century perched on a rocky ridge above the confluence of the Sázava and Blanice rivers. It remains owned and inhabited by the Šternberk family. Across 16 accessible rooms, visitors can admire a knights' hall with Baroque stucco, an extensive collection of 545 engravings depicting the Thirty Years' War, and unique Baroque fireplaces. Educational programmes and school tours are available.
