Since 2005, the museum has been housed in an Art Nouveau building of the former German volunteer fire brigade in Ostrava-Přívoz. The exhibition comprises seven thematic sections: the history of firefighting, displays of historical and modern equipment, a children's training area, a cinema hall and a workspace of the Integrated Safety Centre. Suitable for teaching safety, emergency services and technology across all age groups.
