A small firefighting museum run by the Číhošť volunteer fire brigade in the former fire station. It opened in 2012 and its main exhibit is an 1898 horse-drawn fire pump made by the Smekal company, which the firefighters dismantled and restored between 2008 and 2010; in operation it is pulled by a pair of horses. Also on display are a MÁRA motor pump from 1938, historical banners, period uniforms and firefighting equipment. Visits must be arranged in advance. The village of Číhošť is also the geographical centre of the Czech Republic.

The museum was founded by the Číhošť volunteer fire brigade in 2012, growing out of the restoration of a horse-drawn Smekal pump from 1898.
The pump, drawn by a pair of horses, was blessed on 26 May 2012; another exhibit is a motor pump built in 1938.
The exhibition is interactive — it expects you to touch the exhibits and try them out.
Allow roughly an hour; the programme is aimed at preschoolers, lower primary and upper primary.
