The Vysočina National Geopark is a land of stonemasons around Telč and Javořice. The landscape is defined by granite and granite quarries; stone from Mrákotín can even be found at Prague Castle. There are over 100 ponds and peat bogs in the Telč area. The geopark includes Javořice (837 m above sea level), the highest peak of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, Míchova skála rock, Roštejn Castle, the ruins of Štamberk with its stone run, a stonemasonry museum in Mrákotín and the Telč underground. Educational trails of 4, 8 or 13 km are available, and the geopark also organises guided geological walks.

The stonemasonry museum in Mrakotin explains granite quarrying, and in Telc you can walk 150 metres of passages beneath the square.
Michova skala rock near Velky parezity pond is the heart of the geopark; nature trails run at Nova Rise, Mrakotin and Stamberk.
