The Gallery of Sculpture is the only public collection of modern Czech sculpture focused on sandstone and stone works. It was established in 1908 as part of the tradition of the Hořice School of Stonemasonry. Indoor and outdoor exhibitions trace the development of sculpture from the Art Nouveau period to the present day. For children it makes an interesting complement to the Museum visit, illustrating how art can be created from stone.
