Spread across more than 4,000 m² within the Czech Fire and Rescue Service complex in Zbiroh, this museum brings together around 110 exhibits tracing the development of fire protection from the 18th century to the present day. Highlights include horse-drawn fire pumps from 1746, Praga, Tatra, Škoda and ZIL fire engines, an MI-2 helicopter, a Z 37 Čmelák aircraft, and a SPOT 55 fire tank. The museum is located near the château where Alfons Mucha painted the Slav Epic.
