Prague's theatre for children and youth, Minor, offers an extensive programme for kindergartens and primary schools, including morning theatre performances and educational workshops. Ticket prices for pupils are 170–220 Kč (depending on the stage); an educational workshop after the performance costs 80 Kč. The theatre features the Minor Gallery with play elements. Teaching and activity sheets are available for selected productions.

Why visit this place?

• The theatre opened on 26 February 1950 as Ústřední loutkové divadlo and has been called Minor since 1991.
• Its present stage in Vodičkova street was converted from the derelict Skaut cinema and won the Stavba roku 2002 award and the Prague Mayor's Prize.
• Besides the tour there are hands-on workshops, so children get to make something themselves.
• Allow roughly an hour; the programme is aimed at preschoolers, lower primary and upper primary.
