The largest accessible object of the Czechoslovak fortifications in the Czech Republic, open year-round. Fortress Hůrka is located on the northern edge of Králíky and comprises 5 combat structures of the highest resistance class, connected by 1.75 km of underground tunnels and chambers. The museum includes a modern exhibition dedicated to the history of the Czechoslovak army, fortifications, World War II and paratroopers.

Hůrka is one of five structurally completed artillery forts of the Czechoslovak border fortifications; construction started on 5 August 1936 and took 24 months.
The planned garrison was 424 men plus half an infantry company, over 500 men in all; the works cost three lives.
