Why visit this place?
The plant and the whole Prague sewer system were designed by the British-born engineer Sir William Heerlein Lindley; it was built between 1901 and 1906.
It treated Prague's sewage until 1967, became a national cultural monument in 2010 and has been an ERIH anchor point of European industrial heritage since 2016.
Allow roughly an hour and a half; the programme is aimed at lower primary, upper primary and secondary students.
