One of the most important late Gothic cathedrals in Europe, inscribed together with the historic centre of Kutná Hora on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Dedicated to St Barbara, patron saint of miners, the church was built from the proceeds of the local silver mines, and its decoration including rare medieval frescoes reflects the town's mining and minting history. Visitors admire the monumental tent roof, the buttress system and the interior with frescoes and stained glass.

"Researchers in Barbara" guided program (45-min commentary): children from 6 years CZK 60, students CZK 140, guide surcharge CZK 200 per group. Booking required min. 14 days ahead. A self-guided "Barbara – the church as a classroom" option is also available without a guide or reservation.
