One of the largest accessible bunkers in the Czech Republic – a three-storey underground command post of the Czechoslovak air defence from 1984, active from 1985 to 2003. Visitors walk through combat command halls, view Soviet SA-75 Dvina missile technology and gain insight into how the country's air defence system operated.

Why visit this place?

• The exhibition displays Soviet missiles of the S-75 Volkhov and Dvina, S-125 Neva, S-200 Vega and 2K12 Kub systems, plus a PLDvK vz. 53 twin cannon.
• The facility was built between 1981 and 1984; after declassification it passed to an association of nearby villages and opened to the public only in 2014.
• The exhibition is interactive — it expects you to touch the exhibits and try them out.
• Allow roughly an hour and a half; the programme is aimed at lower primary, upper primary and secondary students.
• There are 141 more tips within 25 km, enough to build a full-day trip.
• There is a dedicated programme for school groups, not just general admission.
