Broumovské stěny form a 12 km long ridge of sandstone rocks in the south of the Broumov region. They are protected by a national nature reserve established in 1956 covering 638 ha. The peaks Božanovský Špičák (781 m) and Koruna (772 m) offer views of the Broumov basin and the Polish borderland. Hiking trails lead through rock labyrinths, the ravines once sheltered legendary robbers, and Mariánská jeskyně hides a relief of the Virgin Mary — ideal for trips with commentary on the geology and history of the region.
