The oldest municipal botanical garden in the Czech Republic, founded in 1876. The greenhouse complex of nine pavilions offers tropical and subtropical displays, cacti and succulents, carnivorous plants, and freshwater and marine aquariums, plus outdoor exhibits. For schools it offers educational programmes and guided tours with age-appropriate worksheets.
