A permanent aquarium exhibition dedicated to fish of Czech and Moravian waters, located in the grounds of Landek Park in Ostrava-Petřkovice. Fifteen aquariums (the largest holds 5,000 litres) display approximately two-thirds of the fish species found in the Odra, Opava, Ostravice and their tributaries – carp, pike, perch, trout, eels, sturgeons, catfish, as well as rarities such as the albino catfish and golden pike. Admission is by donation; school groups are welcome by prior telephone arrangement.

• The aquarium sits below Landek hill, where the Petřkovice Venus was found and where coal was used as fuel for the very first time.
• At the foot of the hill is the Mining Museum with the Anselm mine, the oldest in the Ostrava region; Landek itself has been settled for over 23,000 years.
